Women Who Are Naturally Loud Face Difficulties in Life

Some women are naturally quiet or at least know how to manage their level, while others can’t keep their voices down and just don’t give a damn. They’re naturally vocal and won’t hesitate to proclaim it from the roofs… literally. However, just because some of us are comfortable with living at full capacity doesn’t imply it’s simple.

1. WE’RE TOLD TO KEEP IT DOWN ON A REGULAR BASIS.

We’ve been instructed to keep it down or shut up since we were in elementary school and continue to be told to do so as adults in the workplace. We’ve been asked about it more times than we can remember. Oh, we’re a little too boisterous? Please tell us something new.

2. IS THERE AN INSIDE VOICE? WHAT ON EARTH IS THAT?

Having a “inner voice” is just ridiculous. So, how does it work? Is it similar to being a mime? What is a whisper, exactly?

4. WHEN WE TALK PASSIONATELY ABOUT SOMETHING, PEOPLE THINK WE’RE SERIOUSLY ANGRY.

No, I’m not offended; I’m simply highly confident in this discourse, and my tone reflects that. Stop accusing me of being enraged when all I’m doing is being enthusiastic about what I’m saying.

5. OR THEY CONSIDER US TO BE BITCHY OR RUDE.

Just because we have a loud voice doesn’t imply we’re sassy. There’s a difference between being obnoxious and speaking loudly. Try to focus on what we’re saying rather than how loud we’re saying it, since we’re not attempting to upset anybody.

6. THIS IS NOT OUR NORMAL VOICE — WE ARE NOT SHOUTING.

WHAT DO YOU MEAN WHEN YOU SAY I’M YELLING? I’M JUST TALKING THE WAY I DO EVERY DAY.

7. YES, IN THE BEDROOM, OUR VOLUME TRANSLATES

And the men we’ve dated who live near to their neighbors or have weak walls have had to urge us to calm down a few times. Oops.

8. WE ARE EXTREMELY TALKATIVE.

Many folks in our immediate proximity are able to hear what we’re saying. We used to care, but now we don’t. Be prepared for lengthy, amusing, and noisy chats, as we like chatting about everything and everything.

9. WE CAN’T WHISPER BECAUSE WE DON’T KNOW HOW.

What others perceive a “normal voice” is likely a whisper to us. If you’re giving us a secret, it’s better if we’re fully alone; otherwise, we can’t promise that we won’t accidently blurt it out in shock louder than you’d want.

10. WHEN WE ARRIVE AT THE PARTY, EVERYONE KNOWS.

Because we unintentionally announce our presence to everyone by greeting them at the door and then laughing hysterically because we’re simply glad to be there where we can be our loud ass selves. Isn’t that why we have parties?

11. GOING TO THE MOVIE THEATER IS DIFFICULT.

We always have the biggest laugh in the theater, and we are shushed for commenting on a bizarre moment. Ugh. It’s impossible for us to avoid it.

12. WE TERRORISE FEARFUL PEOPLE.

In our organization, shy individuals feel overwhelmed. They don’t know what to do with all the noise, so they normally nod politely in fear while we mistakenly yell dialogue at them.

13. WE SOUND LIKE HYENAS BECAUSE WE ARE LAUGHING EVEN LOUDER.

With us, there is no such thing as quiet laughing. It’s go big or go home when we respond to something amusing. Please accept my apologies in advance for any inconvenience this may cause your eardrums.

14. HUMAN BEINGS ARE EASILY INTIMIDATED.

We’re not attempting to terrify you; we merely speak in this manner. Simply go with the flow. It’s OK; we’re not going to bite.

15. WE ARE UNAWARE OF HOW LOUD WE ARE.

We have no clue what this “normal voice” that everyone keeps referring to is. We’re our own special kind of normal.

16. SPEAK UP, WE CAN’T HEAR YOU RIGHT NOW.

“WHAT DID YOU SAY?” we ask when someone talks softly or “normally” to us.

17. LOWERING OUR VOICES REQUIRES A LOT OF TIME AND EFFORT.

We attempted to be quieter, but failed terribly. Because if we attempt to whisper, we will likely go too far and no one will be able to hear us, so when they ask us to repeat ourselves, we will return to our regular voice. I’M SORRY FOR THAT.

18. SO WE MAY LISTEN TO LOUD MUSIC IN ORDER TO AVOID BEING COMPLETELY NAGGED.

Because sometimes we’re simply tired of being told to “keep it down” or shushed, so we put some loud ass music in our ears and shut up for a minute.
